Why It Matters

Housing Costs Are Rising. Stability Is Out of Reach for Too Many.

Across our community, rising rents and limited affordable housing are pushing families, veterans, and individuals into crisis. Without stable housing, it becomes nearly impossible to maintain employment, health, or education. This campaign addresses the root of the problem by creating long-term stability where it’s needed most.

The Need Is Urgent

  • Florida ranks 3rd in the nation for homelessness
  • 1 in 6 local households spends over half their income on housing
  • More than 4,000 children in Pinellas County experience housing instability each year
  • A full-time worker earning $14/hour would need to work over 100 hours per week to afford rent

Why Housing Changes Everything

Stable housing reduces healthcare costs, improves educational outcomes for children, and creates pathways to long-term independence. When families have a safe place to live, everything else becomes possible.

What This Campaign Will Do

Prevent homelessness before it begins
Strengthen workforce participation and community health
Create lasting impact for generations to come
