Across our community, rising rents and limited
affordable housing are pushing families, veterans,
and individuals into crisis. Without stable housing, it
becomes nearly impossible to maintain
employment, health, or education. This campaign
addresses the root of the problem by creating
long-term stability where it’s needed most.
The Need Is Urgent
- Florida ranks 3rd in the nation for homelessness
- 1 in 6 local households spends over half their income on housing
- Thousands of children in Pinellas County experience housing instability each year
- A full-time worker earning $13/hour would need to work over 100 hours per week to afford rent
